With over 60 years of combined piercing experience, our friendly and professional staff take great pride in offering only the best in body jewelry and customer service in a clean, comfortable studio. We have two locations which meet environmental criteria for the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) and exceed standards set forth by the South Carolina Department of Health. All staff are APP members, or are actively working towards membership. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible experience for the life of your piercing. Voted "Best Piercing Studio in Charleston" (2014 to 2023, City Paper) the staff at MOLA take pride in the quality of work we do and of the jewelry we offer. 

All jewelry we use is threadless or internally threaded, made with the highest standard Implant Grade Titanium, Niobium, Gold or Quartz glass. Initial piercing jewelry is made in the USA, metals are hand polished to a mirror finish, and our jewelry comes with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty. When purchasing jewelry in our studio, we waive the service fee for changing it. In cases where a taper must be used, there is a small fee. Certain jewelry is suitable for initial healing, while other pieces work best for healed piercings—our piercers and specialists will help you determine what is best for your situation.
