Service fees are waived for clients under the age of 12 in an effort to make safe piercing practices more accessible. Earlobe piercings are available from ages 5 and up. We will perform a maximum of one pair of earlobe piercings per visit for clients under the age of 12.

Ages 5-12 with appropriate ID. One earlobe piercing. Pierced using a flat back labret stud.

Ages 5-12 with appropriate ID. Two earlobe piercings. Pierced using a flat back labret stud.
These piercings are placed in the soft tissue at the base of the ear. Earlobes usually have the fastest healing time of any ear piercings, but as always, experiences will vary from person to person. Because these piercings occur in softer tissue, it isn't considered detrimental to have both pierced at the same time, although sleeping on them may still leave them feeling a bit sore.

Ages 5+ with appropriate ID. Just the one!

Ages 5+ with appropriate ID. Two earlobe piercings. Traditionally one on each side, but nobody says it has to be! If you want to do two piercings on the same side, we're here for it!

Ages 12+ with appropriate ID. We offer a maximum of four piercings in any one sitting. Three or more lobe piercings are usually something we do for multiple sets (like adding second and third lobes), but occasionally we get to do stacked lobes or constellation placements!
The helix refers to the cartilage of the outer ear. Available for ages 13+ with appropriate ID. We are required by law to collect ID from every client at the time of their appointment, even if we've pierced them before. This is true for minors as well, who must also be accompanied by a guardian with their own appropriate ID. Book any of these as a "helix" service. Service cost is per piercing!

Ages 13+ with appropriate ID. Typically placed closer to the outer edge of the ear, helix piercings can be styled singly or with multiples, as long as we are piercing the same ear! Three or more helix piercings in a single session are performed for clients who are 15+ with appropriate ID.

Ages 13+ with appropriate ID. This placement is best for showcasing large, ornate studs. Don't let that stop you if dainty jewelry is your thing! However, this particular placement is not well suited to wearing rings, even when fully healed.

13+ years of age with appropriate ID. A mid helix is not always perfectly centered as allowances must always be made for anatomy, but they're an adorable addition every time!

Ages 13+ with appropriate ID. Exactly how "hidden" this piercing will be is dependent on the shape of your anatomy, but this placement is exploding in popularity! Our favorite jewelry companies continue to produce more and more options for this placement, each more delightful than the last.

Ages 15+ with appropriate ID. This piercing is executed above the rook shelf, but rather than being pierced vertically, it exits horizontally, technically making it a helix piercing. Like many on this list, this is an anatomy dependent piercing.

Ages 15+ with appropriate ID. This piercing is straight through the fold of the helix. Often performed with an internally threaded straight barbell but can be done with an adapted threadless labret.
These piercings are some of the more anatomy dependent placements available for ear piercings. Your piercer will always check to determine the eligibility of your anatomy for any given piercing. Please note that many of these piercings will restrict the use of items like in-ear headphones and stethoscopes.

Ages 15+ with appropriate ID. Ask a piercer about their favorite piercing and 9/10 are going to tell you they love a conch! These piercings offer the absolute most for jewelry versatility. Initially pierced with a flat back labret stud, these piercings can be styled with rings, chains, dainty jewelry, or showstoppers when fully healed. Their tucked away nature makes them a great place to start if you've never healed cartilage piercings before.

Ages 16+ with appropriate ID. A more advanced placement, this is a piercing that can be a bit longer to heal. One of the few piercings that we will start with a ring.

Ages 15+ with appropriate ID. These piercings are so incredibly anatomy dependent. Dainty jewelry is a must for these initially, the flatter the better!

Ages 16+ with appropriate ID. A vertical piercing in the rook shelf, pierced with an internally threaded curved barbell.

Ages 16+ with appropriate ID. Somewhere between the conch and the helix flat, this is pierced with a flatback labret stud.

Ages 15+ with appropriate ID. The "little ear!" Tragus piercings are a great addition. Pierced initially with a flat back labret stud, these piercings are adorable with tiny little rings or charms when fully healed!

Ages 18+ with appropriate ID. When anatomy allows, this piercing is performed using a curved barbell. These piercings can be styled with rings after fully healed and are a unique addition to any setup! They are also a more advanced piercing, requiring a longer healing time than many ear placements.

Ages 18+ with appropriate ID. A snug piercing uses a curved barbell and comes with a long healing time. Among the most advanced, these piercings are rivaled in healing time by the infamous industrial piercings.

Ages 16+ with appropriate ID. Industrial piercings are two piercing sites connected by a single internally threaded straight barbell. This piercing is anatomy dependent in the extreme, and an infamous heal. Because the piercing sites are connected, snagging or bumping one can traumatize both. Their high traffic placement present further challenges to healing, and as such these can sometimes take a year to fully settle.
Appropriate ID is defined by the South Carolina Department of Health as "government issued photo ID." This means that as per state law, we are only allowed to accept Passports, Driver's Licenses, or State Issued ID that are not expired. Minors must have their own ID in which their last name or address match that of their guardian's ID.
